     प्यारे विद्यार्थियों, आशा है की आप सब घरों में रहते हुए लॉकडाउन का पालन कर रहें होंगे और स्कूल के whatsapp समूह में सभी विषयाध्यापकों द्वारा भेजे जा रहे शैक्षिक सामग्री का अध्ययन और दिए जा रहे गृहकार्य को संपन्न कर रहे होंगे. कुछ विद्यार्थी बहुत अच्छा कार्य कर रहे हैं जबकि कुछ बिलकुल उदासीन बने हुए हैं.  यह उदासीनता उचित नही है. लॉकडाउन में आपको काफी समय मिल रहा है और आप इस समय का अपनी पढ़ाई में सदपयोग कर सकते है. आइये, कक्षा 7 की अंग्रेजी की किताब के पाठ-1, "THREE QUESTIONS" को यहाँ पढ़ते हैं और समझते हैं.

THREE QUESTIONS (तीन प्रश्न ) Part-2

The king turned round and saw a bearded man running towards them. राजा पीछे मुडा और उसने एक दाढ़ी वाले आदमी को अपनी ओर दौडकर आते देखा। His hands were pressed against his stomach, from which blood was flowing. उसने अपने पेट को अपने दोनों हाथों से दबा रखा था और उसके पेट से खून निकल रहा था। When he reached the king he fainted and fell to the ground. जब वह राजा के पास पहुुंचा तो वह मूर्छित होकर जमीन पर गिर गया। The king and the hermit removed the man’s clothing and found a large wound in his stomach. राजा और सन्यासी ने उस व्यक्ति के कपडे उतार कर देखा कि उसके पेट पर एक बड़ा घाव था। The king washed and covered it with his handkerchief, राजा ने उसके घाव को धोया और अपने रुमाल से उसे ढक दिया। but the blood would not stop flowing. परुंतु उसके घाव से खून का लगातार बहना नह़ी रुक रहा था। The king re-dressed the wound until at last the bleeding stopped. राजा ने उसके घाव पर दोबारा पट्ट़ी की जब तक कि खून बहना रुक नह़ीुं गया। The man felt better and asked for something to drink. अब उस आदमी को कुछ आराम महसूस हुआ और उसने पीने के लिए कुछ मांगा। The king brought fresh water and gave it to him. राजा उसके लिए ताजा पानी लेकर आया और उसे पीने को दिया । By this time the sun had set and the air was cool. उस समय तक सूर्य अस्त होने लिए था और हवा ठंडी थी। The king with the hermit’s help carried the wounded man into the hut and laid him on the bed. राजा ने सन्यासी की सहायता से घायल व्यक्ति को सन्यासी की झोपडी के अंदर ले गया और बिस्तर के ऊपर लिटा दिया । The man closed his eyes and lay quiet. उस घायल व्यक्ति ने अपनी आंखें बंद कर ल़ी और चुपचाप लेटा रहा। The king, tired by his walk and the work he had done, राजा जो कि अपने काम और पैदल चलने से थक गया था lay down on the floor and slept through the night. फर्श पर लेट गया और पूऱी रात भर सोया When he awoke, it was several minutes before he could remember where he was or who the strange bearded man lying on the bed was. जब राजा जागा तो कुछ समय तक उसे यह याद नह़ी आया कि वह कहां है और दाढ़ी वाला अजनबी व्यक्ति कौन है जो बिस्तर पर लेटा था
    “Forgive me!” said the bearded man in a weak voice, when he saw that the king was awake. दाढ़ी वाले व्यक्ति ने जब यह देखा कि राजा जाग गया है तो उसने धीमी आवाज में कहा “मुझे क्षमा करें”!
“I do not know you and have nothing to forgive you for,” said the king. राजा ने कहा मैं न तो तुम्हें जानता हूं और ना ह़ी कोई ऐसा कारण है कि जिससे मैं तुम्हें क्षमा करुं।  “You do not know me, but I know you. आप मुझे नह़ी जानते किंतु मैं आपको जानता हूुं । I am that enemy of yours who swore revenge on you, मैं आपका वह़ी शत्रु हूँ जिसने आप से बदला लेने की कसम खाई थी because you put my brother to death and seized my property. क्योंकि आपने मेरे छोटे भाई को मारा था और मेरी संपत्ति जब्त कर ल़ी थी।
I knew you had gone alone to see that hermit, and I made up my mind to kill you on your way home. मैं जानता था कि आप अकेले ह़ी उस सन्यासी को मिलने जा रहे हैं मैंने अपने मन में यह निश्चय किया कि मैं आपको घर वापसी के रास्ते में मार डालूंगा। But the day passed and you did not return. पूरा दिन बीत गया और आप नह़ीं आए । So I left my hiding-place, and I came upon your bodyguard, इसलिए जैसे ह़ी मैं अपने छुपने का स्थान छोडकर बाहर निकला आपके अंगरक्षक ने मुझे देख लिया who recognised me and wounded me. उसने मुझे पहचान लिया और मुझे घायल कर दिया I escaped from him but I should have died if you had not dressed my wounds. मैं उससे बच तो गया परंतु शायद मर ह़ी जाता यदि आप मेरे घाव पर मरहम पट्ट़ी ना करते। I wished to kill you, and you have saved my life. मैं आपको मारना चाहता था किंतु आपने मुझे बचा लिया Now, if I live, I will serve you as your most faithful servant and will order  my sons to do the same. अब यदि मैं जीवित रहा तो मैं आपका सबसे विश्वसनीय सेवक बनकर रहूंगा और अपने पुत्रों को भी ऐसा ह़ी करने का आदेश दूंगा Forgive me!” मुझे क्षमा करें
       The king was very happy to have made peace with his enemy so easily, राजा प्रसन्न था कि उसने अपने शत्रु के साथ इतनी आसानी से दोस्ती कर ल़ी। and to have won him over as a friend. और उसको हमेशा के लिये दोस्त बना लिया He not only forgave him but said he would send his servants and his own doctor to look after him,राजा ने न केवल उसको क्षमा ह़ी किया परंतु कहा कि वह अपने सेवक और चिकित्सक को उसका ध्यान रखने के लिए भेजेगा। and he promised to give back the man his property. साथ ह़ी राजा ने उसे यह वचन भी दिया कि वह उस व्यक्ति की साऱी संपत्ति भी लौटा देगा। Leaving the wounded man, the king went out of the hut and looked round for the hermit. घायल व्यक्ति को झोपड़ी में छोडकर राजा झोपड़ी से बाहर आया और चारों ओर सन्यासी को ढूंढने लगा। Before going away he wished once more to get answers to his questions. वहां से बाहर जाने से पहले वह अपने उन तीनों प्रश्नों का उत्तर जानना चाहता था। The hermit was on his knees sowing seeds in the beds that had been dug the day before. सन्यासी कल की खोद़ी गयी क्यरियों में घुटने के बल बैठकर बीज बो रहा था The king went up to the hermit and said, “For the last time I beg you to answer my questions, wise man.” राजा सन्यासी के पास गया और उसने कहा कि हे बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति मैं आपसे अपने प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने की प्रार्थना करता हूं “You have already been answered!” said the hermit still bending down to the ground and looking up at the king as he stood before him. संन्यासी जो कि अभी तक जमीन पर झुका हुआ था सामने खडे राजा को देख कर कहा, तुम्हें अपने प्रश्नों के उत्तर मिल चुके हैं।
      “How have I been answered? What do you mean?” आपका क्या तात्पर्य है मुझे किस प्रकार उत्तर मिल गए हैं “Do you not see?” replied the hermit. सन्यासी ने उत्तर दिया क्या तुमने नह़ी देखा “If you had not pitied my weakness yesterday and had not dug these beds for me, यदि तुमने मेऱी कमजोऱी पर दया दिखाकर मेरे लिए ये क्यरियां नह़ी खोद़ी होती। you would have gone away. तो तुम चले गए होते। Then that man would have attacked you and you would have wished you had stayed with me. तब यह आदमी तुम पर आक्रमण कर देता और तुम यह सोचते कि यदि मैं आपके पास ह़ी रुक जाता तो अच्छा था। So the most important time was when you were digging the beds. सबसे महत्वपूणि समय वह था जब तुम क्यारियां खोद रहे थे। And I was the most important man, सबसे महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति में था। and to do me good was your most important business. और मेरे लिए अच्छा कार्य करना तुम्हारा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कार्य था Afterwards, when the man ran to us, बाद में जब आदमी हमाऱी ओर दौडता हुआ आया the most important time was when you were caring for him, सबसे महत्वपूर्ण समय वह था जब तुम उसका ध्यान रख रहे थे because if you had not dressed his wounds he would have died without having made peace with youक्योंकि यदि तुम उसके घावों पर मरहम पट्ट़ी न करते तो वह तुमसे मित्रता किये बिना ह़ी मर जाता। So he was the most important man, इसलिए वह महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति था and what you did for him was your most important business. और जो तुमने किया वह सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कार्य था।
      “Remember then, there is only one time that is important and that time is ‘Now’. It is the most important time because it is the only time we have any power to act. इसलिए हमेशा याद रखना की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण समय अभी है यह सबसे महत्वपूर्ण समय इसलिए क्योंकि यह़ी केवल वह समय जिसमें हमें कोई भी कार्य करने की शक्ति  होती है। “The most necessary person is the person you are with at a particular moment, for no one knows what will happen in the future and whether we will meet anyone else. सबसे आवश्यक या महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति वह है जिसके साथ आप उस क्षण हैं क्योंकि कि कोई नह़ीं जानता कि भविष्य में क्या होगा और हम किससे मिलेंगे । The most important business is to do that person good, because we were sent into this world for that purpose alone.” सबसे अधिक महत्वपूर्ण कार्य है सबके साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करना क्योंकि हमें दुनियां में इसी कार्य के लिए भेजा गया है।
